Event Production
Taking Pride In Every Production
Concerts
The perfect convergence of my practical experience and love of music. Having hours to transform a space, safely building out a stage, setting up a box office, activations, bars is always worth the brief moment I get to stand at the back of crowd taking in the energy of a phenomenal performance knowing your sweat helped to create such a brilliant experience.
Parties and Pop-ups
Some of the most fast-paced, out-of-the-box projects I get to work on. The mixture of high quality fabrication, catering, and retail in unconventional venues makes for an exciting challenge. Watching people who have come for a giveaway get sucked into the intrecaies of and find details is a fantastic surprise.
Conferences
High-stakes work that elevates a brand's reputation in front of the stakeholders who matter most. Whether producing a single trade show booth or running a general session space, keeping everything on track from install to strike and making the brand stand out in the crowd is always the key.

My life in production started in middle school — building cardboard sets and learning how a spotlight worked — and carried through high school and to San Diego State, where I graduated with a degree in Theater Performance in 2007. From there I spent a decade working in local theaters, eventually taking the position of managing and technical director of the community-based theater company Circle Circle Dot Dot, which I co-founded in 2010. I handled administrative duties while performing, directing, and designing for each of the original stage plays our scrappy little company produced — and that's where I learned to solve problems on no budget and no notice, a skill that still comes in handy every day.
About a decade ago, I shifted from that world of non-profit theater production to the world of corporate events. Since then, I've been the person production companies call when a show has to come together on time, on budget, and without anyone in the room noticing how much work that took. I've managed warehouses, led on-site crews, worked hand in hand with every kind of vendor and venue you can think of, overseen six- to seven-figure budgets, and generally served as the bridge between a creative team's big idea and the version of it that actually fits in the room. Below is a look at some of the projects I've been lucky enough to help build.
Capabilities
Production Management — Overall organization and facilitation of an event or installation, from first walkthrough to strike.
Producing — Budget oversight, vendor coordination, planning, and client communication from kickoff to closeout.
Stage Management — On-site oversight of activities during an event, keeping the show moving in real time.
Fabrication — Prop and set piece design and CAD literacy, backed by hands-on experience managing production shops and strong relationships with fabrication vendors.
Beyond that, I bring working knowledge of lighting, audio, and video systems — enough to speak the language, troubleshoot in a pinch, and know exactly when to bring in a specialist from my existing roster of excellent technicians and vendors.
